We're married!
Megan & Brendan met through a matchmaking service called the Three Day Rule! Megan had previously been matched with 2 other Brendans and was on her last match with the service when THE Brendan's information was passed along to her. Brendan had submitted two photos of himself in a plaid shirt and Megan said yes to the date immediately!
After spending a week or so trying to get ahold of each other to go out because Megan was at New York Fashion Week, they finally set a date (and Brendan left a very nervous but cute voicemail on Megan's phone).
Our first date was at the Firefly in Washington, DC and it was one of the best first dates ever! Megan was impressed that Brendan traveled all the way into DC to go out with her and she only had to walk 3 blocks to the restaurant. We bonded over the fact that we had both been to Chamonix, France and loved it there! After dinner, we walked around Dupont Circle and talked more - we didn't want the date to end!
After the first date, Megan went to New Orleans for the weekend and Brendan kept in touch and made sure to set the second date for when she got home. Megan went to see a tarot card reader and she told her that Brendan was an amazing match for her! We went on another great second date at Blackwall Hitch in Alexandria (and Brendan came early and saw Megan doing a photo shoot!) and the rest is history!
Megan knew on the first date that Brendan was the one she had been waiting so long to meet. She took him to Florida to meet her family for Thanksgiving 2 months after the first date! We moved in together after 8 months which seemed quick to others, but just knew we were right for each other!
